A digital service raises legal questions long before a dispute arises: what information is collected, who may access it and what a technology contract requires. The Bachelor in Technology Law and Data Protection introduces students to these questions through guided legal cases.
The three-year pathway at École supérieure de droit et de justice de Paris begins with legal systems, research and contract foundations. Subject study then connects privacy principles with digital services, technology contracts, intellectual property and introductory AI governance.
École supérieure de droit et de justice de Paris is a member school of ESPAST.

Bachelor in Technology Law and Data Protection: Privacy, Digital Services and Legal Foundations
- Privacy and data protection foundations
- Digital services and technology contracts
- Introduction to AI governance
- Intellectual property fundamentals
- Cybersecurity responsibilities and incident documentation
Students follow a simulated service from its data flows to its contractual arrangements. A supervised project combines a data-flow map, privacy risk review and technology-contract analysis, showing how different legal issues can arise within the same service.
The aim is to build a careful working method: identify the facts, locate the relevant sources and distinguish a legal obligation from an assumption. Guided assignments lead towards a final report and oral presentation rather than treating technical familiarity as a substitute for legal reasoning.
