An AI tool, a cloud contract and a personal-data workflow can expose an organisation to different but connected legal risks. The MSc in Technology Law and Data Protection examines how to analyse those risks together while keeping the applicable legal framework clear.
This two-year programme moves from comparative legal reasoning and source evaluation to specialist work on data protection and GDPR, AI governance, digital platforms, cloud-service contracts and intellectual property. It also considers cybersecurity duties and incident response.
École supérieure de droit et de justice de Paris is a member school of ESPAST.

MSc in Technology Law and Data Protection: Assessing Data Protection and AI Governance
- Data protection principles and GDPR
- Artificial intelligence governance and regulation
- Digital platforms and online services
- Technology contracts and cloud services
- Intellectual property in the digital environment
- Cybersecurity duties and incident response
A simulated digital service provides the setting for the graduation portfolio. Students prepare data-flow mapping, a privacy impact assessment, an AI risk analysis and a contract review, explaining why their recommendations fit the documented case.
Assessment asks for more than a list of regulations. Written work and the final oral defence test the ability to compare interpretations, justify controls and state what the available evidence cannot establish. The published programme is taught in English.

A relevant Bachelor qualification or equivalent prior learning is reviewed individually.
